Hi, I'm Sarah Jacoby. I live in Brooklyn and work with the creative team at Tinybop during the day and draw pictures and stories at night. Once I studied literature and film at Haverford college and earned an M.F.A in at the Illustration Practice Program at MICA (Maryland Institute College of Art) in Baltimore. I also lived out of my van for a year. These were all great experiences and help me make art and create stories. I've contributed to books about illustration, have shown art internationally and throughout the United States, have published with folks like The New York Times, and have won awards in fancy places.
Some awards I've received include: Society of Illustrators 56, Gold Medal, Uncommissioned work, Society of Illustrators 56 & 57, Editorial Illustration AnnualAmerican Illustration 33 and 34 Annual, Creative Quarterly 35, Communication Arts Best of Illustration 2014
