It's Thanksgiving week. I'm taking a moment to think about what I'm appreciating at this moment. With a newly launched app from Tinybop, a slew of recent print projects, and some beautiful packaging, I have a lot to celebrate.
Foremost, I am thinking about returning home for this first of several holiday celebrations. 'Home' the concept has been consuming a great deal of my brain. It's been my main occupation, helping to create Homes the app (see the image above! It's one of my favorite scenes). As a production designer I'm tasked with editing a bit of the art, helping prep and place the art within Unity. It sounds simple, but it can become complex quickly and I often have to learn a lot on the job. Fortunately, I love learning. That's one of the things I'm most grateful for right now. I'm thankful that I have the opportunity to learn new things and grown in creative ways I hadn't anticipated in the past.
I've done a bunch of print work and have worked with a series of new art directors. I've moved from Baltimore to New York and all the while have tried to keep up with all my friends and family along the way.
